Discomfort Dispatch is a series of independent free improvisation events starting around 2017 in Italy, arriving in the Netherlands in 2021. “Discomfort Dispatch” is a metaphor of the uneasiness experienced by artists and audiences, a reference to the embarrassment generated by the situations that it creates. By accepting to collaborate with a stranger, every guest is putting him/herself into the awkwardness of sharing the stage, that feeling must be overcome in order to reach a common ground to complete the task for which the artist is invited. Musicians are invited to improvise for 20 minutes in a couple of duos. Rehearsing is forbidden, verbal planning inappropriate. Discomfort dispatch usually involves musicians/improvisers and is open to any kind of performing artist indagating limits and power of improvisation.

Co-organised editions 33 and 38, responsible for production, overseeing administrative correspondence, hospitality, and coordinating locations for artists' performances. Engaged in vocal improvisation in editions 33, 34, and 37, collaborating with different artists by intuitively creating melodies, sounds, and gestures, building a spontaneous musical dialogue.
