HKU Music Room at HKU is a series of music concerts inspired by Bob Boilen's Tiny Desk Concert. In collaboration with alternative electronic music producer and performer SHAN, and music producer and composer Jaap van Hamond, we aimed to create an intimate and cosy music experience for the audience. The series featured both local and international musicians, with performances spanning genres such as pop, experimental, acoustic, DJ sets, and cover songs.
Responsibilities included inviting artists, arranging the line-up, and hosting the events, as well as coordinating venue rentals, managing social media promotion, and organising equipment borrowing.
